Deilvez Yearby had 18 points and nine rebounds for IPFW (6-9, 1-3). Jakari Johnson scored 17, John Peckinpaugh 11 and Ben Botts 10 for the Mastodons, who outrebounded the Jackrabbits 42-29. IPFW opened on a 10-0 run and never trailed, taking a 55-18 halftime lead. The Mastodons, who shot 38-of-71 from the field including 9-of-16 from three-point range, led by as many as 46 points during the second half. South Dakota State (6-10, 1-3) never got closer than 32 after the break. Kal Williams added 10.

WIth the first semester over, Diaz would be eligible to play as soon as he is admitted and enrolled in classes. Today's Trivia: IPFW Coach Dane Fife is the youngest Head Coach in Division I Hoops. Just 6 years ago, he was playing in the NCAA Final Four at Indiana.

div id="header" class="pub"> For the second year in a row, the Golden Eagles will play the Mastadons of Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne. The Golden Eagles return to the floor on Saturday after a long week of finals to take on the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Mastodons. No. 24/24 Marquette (7-1) comes into the game off of their biggest win of the season, a 71-68 triumph over Wisconsin in front of sold out Bradley Center last Saturday. IPFW (4-5) traveled to Milwaukee last year and received a 80-56 steamrolling at the hands of MU. And the ones that want to sit back and bask in their glory, theyre typically the ones that get punched in the mouth a little more often than the others. All indications however seem to be pointing to another strong outing.

The IPFW Mastodons Basketball team is the basketball team that represent Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The school's team currently competes in The Summit League. The team has never played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. The Mastodons are currently coached by Dane
